Mental health in India continues to remain an abyss that finds fewer explorers.
Terms like depression, anxiety, loneliness, mood disorders, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), etc. are treated with such callousness that it isn’t until one suffers from such conditions that people in their circle begin to take notice.
But change is happening with many celebrities coming out in the open, acknowledging that they have been victims of severe depression and similar conditions and have undergone counselling to overcome the condition.
It is important to make room for the conversation over mental health and pertaining illnesses to unfold.

With October 10 being observed as the World Mental Health Day, Trijog, a platform for 360-degree Mental Health and Wellness, in partnership with Schbang Digital Solutions, have released a film for mental health awareness and presents a never-seen-before, on-camera therapy session with seven prominent individuals from different walks of life.
Featuring popular public figures such as comics Tanmay Bhat, Varun Thakur as well as Humans of Bombay founder Karishma Mehta among others, ‘The Conversation’ showcases renowned clinical psychologist, Anureet Sethi, conducting the sessions in a comfortable setting and atmosphere.
The aim of the film was simple: to have the participants open up about their lives and talk through their smaller mental scratches before they turn into scars. The film normalises therapy and presents it for what it actually is—a conversation.
